Valve body

The valve body is an aluminium housing containing check valves and solenoids. It directs fluid to the clutches and brakes. A clogged or worn valve body causes jerking and solenoid fault codes. Pressure regulation valves adjust line pressure. On ZF 6HP the valve body can be overhauled; on DSG it is part of the mechatronic module.
